If you think the Audi R8 looks special, wait until you fire the engine. The normally-aspirated 4.2-litre V8 (proudly displayed under a glass engine cover, just like a Ferrari) roars into life, and once on the move delivers impressive performance from 2,000rpm. At the far end of the rev counter, a red line of 8,250rpm means astonishing acceleration. Audi R8 have a proper performance engine. But be very careful with Audi R8 gearbox choice; the R Tronic paddleshift system is OK, but it distances you from the drive. The same can’t be said for the superb six-speed manual, while the brakes are progressive, strong and reassuring.
Audi R 8 it’s an enormously capable and user-friendly machine, with scarcely believable amounts of grip. None of Audi R8 rivals could keep pace on twisting roads during our tests. However, it doesn’t have quite the same involvement of the scalpel-sharp Porsche 911, and its responses are slightly numb in comparison.

The Audi A6 ia an average-sized family car produced by Audi to compete with Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series, Alfa Romeo 166, Jaguar S-Type, Lexus GS and Volvo S80.

The Audi A6 is manufactured since 1994 and currently in its fourth generation. The Audi A6 is the successor of the Audi 100 and is manufactured in Neckarsulm, Germany. The model is available in sedan and estate body styles.

The Audi A3 is a lovely premium hatch that deserves the plaudits. No, it’s not the most exciting thing in the universe, but it works on almost every level. A bit on the pricey side compared to similar VW offerings though.

Audi A3 Comfort
Lovely isolation makes the Audi A3 a great motorway cruiser, but there’s not much space in the back for passengers. Also avoid the optional S-Line suspension and big wheels if you value your spine – they re-define the term ‘hard’.

Four petrols and two diesels eninas equiped the audi a3, including the 1.4-litre TFSI turbo-and-supercharged unit. Best compromises are the Golf GTI-engined (197bhp) 2.0-litre TFSI that hits 0-62mph in just over seven seconds or the higher-powered diesel models like the 2.0-litre TDI with 170bhp.

The 2010 Audi A4 continues to wear its newly styled body well. The Audi A4 sedan and wagon are longer and wider than the 2002-2008 Audi A4 lineup, and in many ways, they closely resemble the mid-size Audi A6 sedan and wagon. Slightly stubbier, the Audi A4 sedan and wagon have the now-customary deep Audi grille, LED daytime running lights, and canted headlamps that rest more attractively on the Audi A5/S5 coupes and cabriolets. With the new Audi A 4 lineup comes a deeper, darker binnacled dash that leaves out some of the more expensive wood trim of the past, and in the process omits some of the impression of quiet luxury that used to pervade all Audis. Audi A4 it's still handsome and well finished, but there's more black and metallic plastic and LCD readouts than ever.

The Audi A4 offers a single turbocharged four-cylinder engine, with one of three transmissions and front- or all-wheel drive. The base  Audi A4 sedan has a 211-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, coupled to a six-speed manual, a six-speed automatic, or in front-drive versions, a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Audi's best transmission, a paddle-shifted, dual-clutch gearbox, isn't yet offered. All-wheel drive is available on the four-cylinder sedan and comes standard on the six-cylinder car. The Audi A4 Avant wagon comes only as a turbocharged four, with quattro and the six-speed automatic. There's not much reason to opt for the CVT version other than price. Fuel economy reaches a high of 23/30 mpg with the four-cylinder CVT.
